About Me
Born and raised in Dawson Creek, I live here with my three beautiful daughters. I’ve watched my hometown change throughout the years and become a landmark for travelers venturing to Alaska. Dawson Creek is the start of the World’s Famous Alaska Highway and the Mile Zero Post is a well known landmark for world travelers. The vast beauty of the surroundings of my hometown has become a magical place for brides who want that unique quality to their wedding or any special event.
It was that exact notion in mind that my company was born from. Uniquely designed weddings with style and flare.
With an avid belief in qualifications, I completed the Self Employment Program from Community Futures of Peace Liard, who helped establish my company in a fresh new way. I also hold my 1st year certificate in Visual and Graphic Arts from Northern Lights College.
A proud member of the Association of Bridal Consultants, I had the privilege of attending my first conference in Orlando, Florida last November as their first ever international scholarship winner of the Miss Dorothy Scholarship in 25 years, which allowed two Novice members to attend the conference for free. The invaluable information I received from attending the conference has allowed me to incorporate many of the aspects of Bridal Consulting into my own company. The networking I was able to achieve with other bridal consultants created lasting friendships and support in an industry still very new to the Peace River Region.
